The purpose of the Community Service Department of the Ephesus Church is to provide hope to the community through the love of Jesus Christ by reaching out to those in need. We strive to engage members and families of the church in volunteer work within the community. In doing so, we hope to relieve the suffering and provide the physical and spiritual needs of homeless individuals and families, the elderly, the sick and shut-in, as well as medical needs of our community. We can only accomplish this by collaborating with other community organizations such as Faith Mission, the Red Cross, the YWCA, Lifeline of Ohio and nursing homes. We also offer educational programs that help promote health and safety by teaming up with other churches and organizations within our community.
By volunteering and teaching our children the importance of serving others, our children in the future will be moved to compassion when they see their parents and mentors of the church show compassion to others.
