GET BAPTIZED
Am I ready to be baptized?
When a person enters into a new life with Jesus, the Bible tells us that all of heaven rejoices. Baptism is an outward symbol of the inward commitment to Jesus. Baptism is our testimony to the public of belonging to Jesus. If you have accepted Jesus, we would love to baptize you and share this special decision with you to go public with your faith!

Why should I be baptized?
To follow the example set by Jesus.
At that time Jesus came from Nazareth in Galilee and was baptized by John in the Jordan. Mark 1:9
Because Jesus commanded it.
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. Matt. 28:19-20
Because it shows you are a believer.
Many of the Corinthians who heard Paul believed and were baptized. Acts 18:8
Because obeying Jesus’ commands shows you know Him.
We know that we have come to know him if we keep his commands. 1 John 2:3
What does baptism mean?
It is a symbol of Jesus’ death, burial and resurrection.
Christ died for our sins…he was buried…[and] he was raised on the third day. 1 Cor. 15:3-4
It is a symbol of your new life as a Christian.
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! 2 Cor. 5:17
It is a symbol of your new life as a Christian.
We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life. Rom. 6:4
Why be baptized by immersion?
Because Jesus was baptized that way.
As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water. Matt. 3:16
Every baptism in the Bible was by immersion under water.
Then both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water and Philip baptized him. Acts 8:38
The word “baptize” literally means “to immerse or dip under water.”
Who should be baptized?
Every person who has made the decision to believe in Jesus.
Those who accepted his message were baptized. Acts 2:41
Every person who has made the decision to believe in Jesus.
But when they believed Philip as he proclaimed the good news of the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women. Acts 8:12
The only requirement for baptism is belief in Jesus! We don’t baptize children until they’re old enough to understand and believe.
When should I be baptized?
As soon as you have believed! You shouldn’t delay.
Those who accepted his message were baptized … that day. Acts 2:41
As they traveled along the road, they came to some water and the eunuch said, “Look, here is water. What can stand in the way of my being baptized?”…Then both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water and Philip baptized him. Acts 8:36–38
Can I get baptized if I’ve already been baptized?
If you haven’t been baptized since you invited Jesus into your life, your next step is baptism. It doesn’t devalue a prior experience, but it reflects your desire to be baptized in the same way as Jesus. If you have been baptized since asking Jesus into your life, there’s no need to be baptized again.
