We are the global humanitarian arm of the Seventh-day Adventist Church—part of the 22-million strong Adventist community, with hundreds of thousands of churches globally and the world’s largest integrated healthcare and education network. We deliver relief and development assistance to individuals in more than 120 countries—regardless of their ethnicity, political affiliation, gender, or religious association.
A Kid Again
A Kid Again offers free local events and activities called Adventures for families who have a child facing a life-threatening condition. We handle all expenses and details, so you can simply enjoy quality time with your loved ones. Our purpose is to foster hope, happiness, and healing for these children and their families. The heart of our team is our dedicated volunteer network and generous donors who have enabled us to provide year-round Adventures since 1995.
B.R.E.A.D. (Building Responsibility, Equity, and Dignity)
The B.R.E.A.D. Organization is a fully grassroots organization comprised of many different congregations, who in turn represent many different traditions. Each of our congregations believes something different—about the nature of God and the name of God. But each of us shares a commitment to pursue justice guided by our faith—to finding, in the things that we share, the strength that unity can bring.
Celebrate One
The greatest gift our community can give each baby is a healthy and safe first year of life that sets him or her on a path to thrive each year beyond that. To do so, CelebrateOne and its partners will take on the most significant factors that contribute to Columbus’ high infant mortality rate: reducing premature births, eliminating sleep-related deaths, and connecting the disconnected.
Mid-Ohio Food Collective
We are a foodbank that collects and distributes an impressive amount of food. We provide more than 170,000 meals each day for hungry people in central and eastern Ohio. But that’s not all. We’re a hub for caring people who want to give back with their time, talent, and treasure. We’re a welcome place to imagine and to test out fresh new ideas to tackle tough social issues. We’re a collection of passionate people who want to do all we can for poverty and health as a whole. So, when life happens, we’re here for our neighbors who need us.
