Pastor Noah Lafayette Washington was born to Lafayette and Renee Washington and in Washington, DC. He attended the DuPont Park SDA School, in Washington DC and graduated from the historic Pine Forge Academy in Pine Forge, Pennsylvania.

Pastor Washington responded to the call of ministry on his life and graduated received a BA in Theology from Oakwood College (now Oakwood University) in Huntsville, Alabama. Upon graduation, Pastor Washington completed a Masters in Divinity degree from Andrews University in Berrien Springs, Michigan. He is currently a doctoral student with a concentration in Family Ministries.  He began pastoral ministry at the Emmanuel-Brinklow Seventh-day Adventist Church in Ashton, Maryland as the assistant pastor, where he led the church in successful youth and young adult ministry.  While there, he started a young adult ministry called Reconnect that encouraged young adults to establish and have a passionate relationship with Jesus.

He was then called to serve as the pastor of the Bladensburg SDA Church in Bladensburg, Maryland. Through his leadership, the church continued with a passionate and vibrant worship experience, community gas give-a-ways, community family adoption, school tutoring programs, English as a Second Language (ESL) programs, revivals, and endless momentum.  Under his leadership, the church also purchased and relocated to a new ministry building in Bowie, Maryland.

Pastor Washington is an ordained minister of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.  Both nationally and internationally, he has conducted revivals and seminars about knowing God’s will for your life, understanding how God speaks to you, the ten commandments of dating, and being more connected with Jesus.  He is a certified Marriage and Pre-Marital Counselor through Prepare-Enrich and is currently working on his doctoral dissertation titled, “An Alternative to American Dating Practices for Young Adults.”  For the last year, Pastor Washington has been the lead pastor of the Ephesus Seventh-day Adventist Church in Columbus, OH; where they strive to be the Hands and Feet of Jesus in the northeast section of Columbus, Ohio.  Pastor Washington has been awarded for his community involvement and partnership with city officials.  He has a passion and a heart for the brokenhearted and underserved.

Pastor Washington is married to his college sweetheart, Twila Drew of Muskegon, Michigan. Together, they have a son, Noah Alexander, and a daughter, Drew Mackenzie.  Pastor Washington enjoys music, sports, and laughing. He is passionate about people coming to Jesus and people finding their life’s purpose.  His personal motto in life is Jeremiah 1:5— “Before I formed you in your mother’ womb I knew you and before you were born I consecrated you and appointed you…”
